In a disturbing incident at a high school wrestling match in northern Indiana, a 44-year-old man from Bremen was arrested after a gun discharged. The event occurred during the Mar. 2 wrestling invitational at Rochester Community High School, drawing the attention of the school resource officer who was present.
Upon hearing a “loud noise” emanating from the stands, the resource officer swiftly intervened. To their shock, they discovered that the man was carrying two loaded handguns concealed within his backpack. Remarkably, one of the guns still had a spent round inside. Further inspection revealed that the man was also in possession of narcotics, marijuana, and a knife.
The individual was immediately apprehended and transported to the Fulton County Jail. He now faces preliminary charges related to possession of a firearm on school property, criminal recklessness with a firearm, possession of cocaine, possession of methamphetamine, possession of marijuana, and possession of a knife on school property.
