A tragic incident unfolded at an event center on the west side of Indianapolis, resulting in one fatality and two injuries. The IMPD officers swiftly responded to a report of a person shot at the Onyx Events Center in the late hours of Sunday night. Upon arrival, officers discovered a man at the back of the building with a fatal gunshot wound. The victim, identified as 28-year-old Terrell Reese, was pronounced dead at the scene by medics. Additionally, a 32-year-old man arrived at IU Hospital West in critical condition with a gunshot wound before being transferred to Methodist Hospital. A 21-year-old woman was also found in a nearby vehicle with a gunshot wound and was transported to Eskenazi Hospital in stable condition. IMPD detectives have confirmed that all the shootings are connected and are currently being investigated by the Homicide Detectives.
